I make art to explore the emotional dualities within a scene — the pulse beneath stillness, the tension between turmoil and calm. 

Whether painting landscapes or portraits, I work intuitively, letting colour, gesture, and layered marks reveal the feeling that sparked the piece.   Each work begins with an origin point: an atmosphere, a memory, a presence.   I want viewers to sense that beginning, to feel the story beneath the surface, and to find their own connection in the spaces I create.
